The 2026 28SRA Las Vegas Grand Prix brought together some of the best 1/28-scale racers in the country for four days of competition in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a proud sponsor of the event, PyroRC was excited to support one of the largest races of the year and be part of an incredible weekend of racing.
With a packed field of talented drivers and close competition throughout the event, the Grand Prix once again demonstrated the growth and strength of the 1/28-scale racing community. Events like these continue to push the hobby forward and provide racers with an opportunity to compete against some of the fastest drivers in the nation.
The weekend was especially memorable for Team PyroRC, which saw strong performances throughout the event, highlighted by a victory in the Box Stock class. Team driver Andy secured the overall win after earning Top Qualifier honors and taking first place in both the A1 and A2 mains.
For PyroRC, the result was particularly meaningful because the winning program was powered by PyroRC Punch AAA batteries. Developed specifically for competitive 1/28-scale racing, Punch batteries were designed with one goal in mind: delivering the consistency and performance racers need when competing at the highest level.
